1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Spredo ("the Service"), operated at spredo.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of the changes.

2. Description of Service

Spredo is an AI-powered content repurposing tool. You provide blog posts, articles, or other long-form content, and Spredo generates platform-specific social media posts for Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, and email newsletters. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with free and paid tiers.

3. Account Registration

To use Spredo, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Spredo offers a free Starter plan and a paid Pro plan at $9/month. All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service and Buyer Terms.

• Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Lemon Squeezy handles all sales tax and VAT collection on our behalf.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.

5. Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the content you submit to Spredo (blog posts, articles, URLs). You also own the generated social media content produced by the Service. By using Spredo, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the right to use the content you submit.
• Your content does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property or other rights.
• Your content does not contain unlawful, harmful, or offensive material.

6. Content Retention

Pro users: Your source text and generated outputs are stored permanently in your generation history for as long as your Pro subscription is active.

Free users: Generated content is retained for 24 hours after creation and is then automatically deleted. When you create a new generation, any previous generations are also deleted. Free tier content is not stored long-term.

Downgraded users: If you cancel your Pro subscription, your existing calendar posts and voice profile remain accessible in read-only mode. New write operations (adding posts, training voice, scheduling) require an active Pro subscription. Generation history follows free-tier retention rules after downgrade.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate spam, misleading content, or content intended to deceive.
• Submit content that violates any law or regulation.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by Spredo is produced using artificial intelligence. While we strive for quality, we do not guarantee that generated content will be accurate, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before publishing. Spredo is not liable for any consequences arising from your use of AI-generated content.

9. Intellectual Property

The Spredo name, logo, website design, and underlying technology are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights to our trademarks, branding, or proprietary technology beyond what is necessary to use the Service.

10. Service Availability

We aim to keep Spredo available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice before any material changes that affect your use.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spredo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
